Voice and Call Processing
The Top-Gate
Series gateways support a wide variety of standards-based codecs including
G.729, G.723.1,
G.711,
GSM,
iLBC
and others. Dynamic jitter buffers, adaptive echo cancellation, silence
suppression, packet loss concealment and DiffServ packet priority features
enable the gateway to provide the highest quality service under the most
demanding network conditions.
Interoperability
The Top-Gate
Series gateways are compliant with the latest IETF standards for VoIP
interoperability. They support
MGCP
for call control and interworking with the
softswitch, and are interoperable with
SIP-based
systems such as
SIP proxies
and enhanced services platforms.
Management
The Top-Gate has an integrated web server that provides a graphical user
interface. This feature enables the use of a web browser to configure and
monitor the gateways. It also provides multiple access levels and
administrator control of user passwords to ensure the network is both secure
and easy to manage.
